Daylight

For this beauty, I wanted to play off the soft shape of the mat and continue with that fluid movement. Each piece in this collection is being displayed in a vintage frame that has been thoughtfully curated over time.

This original work of art was created on 100% cotton watercolor paper. I incorporated painted papers, hand beaded flowers and gold leaf to construct the layout before sewing the details on my machine. The length of the oval measures approximately 9.5" and the width approximately 7.5". The frame measures 9” x 11”. This vintage frame gives a lovely shadow box feel with all while boasting a unique, gold oval mat.
