Enchanted

For this beauty, I wanted to play off the soft shape of the mat and continue with that fluid movement. Each piece in this collection is being displayed in a vintage frame that has been thoughtfully curated over time.

This piece was created on 100% cotton watercolor paper. I incorporated painted papers, paper flowers hand embroidered with a beaded center to construct the layout before sewing the details on my machine. The length of the oval measures approximately 8" and the width approximately 6". This vintage frame has a dome glass feature along with intricate filigree metal along the edge.
