Reimagine

Reimagine began as a piece created years ago during a season of exploring brighter palettes. Although its colors held energy, the background always felt overworked. When I rediscovered it, I chose to transform rather than discard it, carefully cutting apart the original composition and reconstructing it into something entirely new. Through this process of deconstruction and renewal, the work evolved into a quieter, more serene expression that reflects my current artistic voice.

This 14 × 11 sewn abstract work is created on watercolor paper using hand-painted papers and a variety of threads, each stitch adding depth, movement, and a sense of continuity between past and present.
