Promise

Promise is a 16x20 original sewn abstract landscape created on watercolor paper, brought to life in saturated rainbow jewel tones meant to capture a sense of wonder. Layers of hand-painted paper and a variety of threads build depth and movement across the piece, with stitching extending beyond the artwork and onto the mat itself, my largest use of this technique to date. Matted and framed to 20.5" x 28"
